SERVPRO of Nashua and Operation Delta Dog: a Legendary Partnership!

Here at SERVPRO, we care about both our local and our national communities, and we have been trying to come up with a way to make an impact that means something special. When you think of us, you might think of the following services:

  • Fire Restoration
  • Water Clean Up
  • Mold Removal
  • Biohazard Cleaning

Our expertise is indeed in the remediation industry, but we want to be a part of so much more. We care about our communities and want to feel like a neighbor you can depend on. We're trying to take that further, so we can be like a neighbor that our nation can depend on. We are happy and proud to announce that we are joining hands with Operation Delta Dog.

One of our General Managers, Chris St. Onge, describes the organization as "volunteers who provide service animals for those veterans who have served our nation, many injured and suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, or military sexual trauma."  Chris is both a veteran and a dog lover, so he was eager to get involved with the work Operation Delta Dog is doing.

SERVPRO of Nashua recently donated "almost six months of food" for the rescue dogs being trained for their new lives helping our veterans. The golden lab in this clip is ready for a SERVPRO serving. Furthermore, SERVPRO also provided sporicidin wipes to the organization, so they can help keep their workplace a safe and sanitary environment. We look forward to helping Operation Delta Dog in the future and continuing to help Charlotte Troddyn, the Executive Director of this wonderful program. We plan on keeping our partnership strong and are delighted that Charlotte is excited about SERVPRO’s contribution and commitment going forward.

The training to prepare these special pups for their veteran adopters is significant. It can take as long as a year and is quite expensive, costing about $25,000.  It is a non-profit organization, funded entirely by donations. The more donations they receive the more homeless dogs they can rescue and place with a deserving veteran. It you are willing to help make a difference and donate to this awesome cause, go to the donate page of the Operation Delta Dog website.

If you find your home in need of remediation services, never wait. Call SERVPRO of Nashua today at (603) 889-2311. We are your neighbors, and we care.
